Giving in Memory: Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day 2013

The Bone Marrow Foundation was honored today to participate in Charity Day 2013.

Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners originally started Charity Day to remember the 658 employees who died as a result of the 2001 attack on the World Trade Center. Each September 11th, the firms donate 100% of their revenue raised that day to charities around the world. Celebrities from television, movies, sports, and music work the phones, under the guidance of professional traders, raising money and awareness for causes and organizations. This year The Bone Marrow Foundation was selected as one of the 40 benefiting charities and former Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Bill Cowher was on-hand as the Foundation’s celebrity representative.
