The June edition of The Bone Marrow Foundation’s e-newsletter “Lifeline” shared the story of Nicole Hasbrouck and her lacrosse-based fundraiser. At the time, the team was halfway through its season and Nichole was estimating that she had raised $1,500.

In the end, Nichole’s relatively simple fundraiser was even more successful than that. After the lacrosse season ended, Nichole presented more that $3,400 to Christina Merrill, Executive Director of The Bone Marrow Foundation, to help patients participating in Lifeline Project. These funds provided financial assistance to 18 children and adults scheduled for or recovering from bone marrow, stem cell, and cord blood transplants.

A huge “THANK YOU” goes out to Nichole and all of the generous people who supported her fundraising efforts.
