Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much

This week, the mailman brought this lovely card.

It was from the family of one of the patients profiled on the Lifeline Project webpage and selected to be a beneficiary of the recent Walk of Light fundraiser. It contained this expression of gratitude:

We were truly taken back when we received the check in the mail for Carl’s BMT treatments. We are so very grateful, overwhelmed & thoughtful. Your organization is a true blessing to our family. God Bless you.

The funds raised for this family will be used for transportation costs and medical expenses not covered by their insurance. Assistance with these types of expenses can have an enormous impact on a patient’s access to life-saving treatment and recovery.

Thank you to everyone who has helped and continues to help ease the financial burden felt by bone marrow, stem cell, and cord blood transplant patients.
